Knot Intelligence is a personal decide + diagnose tool for fishing connections. It is not a shadow of the blog Knot Finder and not a knot encyclopedia.
What this app is
Decide — given your connection, materials, and field conditions, which knots are valid and which fit best, with explainable ranking.
Diagnose — given what failed (break, slip, seat, bulk, action, repeat failure), what that usually means, what to check, and when to cut it off.
Mechanical intelligence first. An LLM never overrides hard constraints or invents a safe pass on an unverified knot.
What this app is not
Not Knot Finder — the blog tool filters and compares the teaching library (profiles, pocket mode). That stays on the Fishing Knots page.
Not a 66-knot browser — deep how-to pages live on hookthehorizon.blog. We may deep-link; we do not re-host the library as our product.
Not catch guarantees — no “this knot will land fish” claims. Connection integrity and field fitness only.
Not a fake confidence meter — retie-now / watch / cannot-verify beat invented 94% scores.
How it relates to the fleet
Lives on Horizon Desk as its own card (HTH-KK-001). Upstream of a trip, it answers connection integrity after Compatibility clears a system. It does not replace Honey Hole access checks or Planner presentation choice.
